Job details: Full-time, 24 month contract, day shift, 1 vacancy

Salary: $14.35 per hour, 40 hours per week

Expected start date: as soon as possible

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, Security and Safety Medical exam, Criminal record check, Reference required

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Urban area, Work in employer's/client's home, Room and board provided

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication

Additional Skills: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, Care for pets

Children's Ages School: age (6 – 12 years)

Experience with Special Needs Children: Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD)

Specific Skills: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children

Work Setting: Employer's home
