Marketing Specialist – Advertising

Requirements:
– Education: Minimum University diploma in a relevant field. Higher education is an asset
– Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of marketing experience.
– Strong communication skills
– Proficient with Microsoft Office and editing software
– Second language skills are an asset

Job Duties:
– Assist clients with their marketing and advertising needs
– Develop marketing plans and oversee the execution within budget
– Assess characteristics of products to be featured and most effective method
– Be familiar with company marketing strategies, products, and services
– Create marketing materials that are digital and physical (ex. Flyers, brochures, prints, website)
– Co-ordinate with media outlets and marketing outlets to distribute marketing materials
– Prepare reports and briefs on the methods and effectiveness of marketing strategies
– Manage social media platforms
– Research competitor products and keep up to date with new marketing strategies
– Conduct surveys to gauge customer feedback
– Oversee contracts and maintain relationship with media outlets
