Nanny Position Available in Downtown Toronto
We are seeking to hire a full time nanny for our young family. We have 4 children ages 9, 7, 5 and 9 months.
The location is downtown Toronto. Salary is $14.00 per hour. The position is a full time position of 40 hours per week with flexibility preferred on the working hours. Accommodation is available, however this is not a condition of employment.

Job Requirements

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and Safety: Drug test, Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check, Reference required
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Work in employer’s/client’s home, Urban area, Room and board provided, Relocation costs covered by employer, Willing to relocate
Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
Personal Suitability: Good Judgement, Organized, Takes Initiative, Excellent oral communication, Team player, Flexibility, Reliability
Additional Skills: Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
Children’s Ages: Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years), School age (6 – 12 years), Infant (3 months – 11 months)
Experience with Special Needs Children: Children with asthma
Specific Skills: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Prepare infants and children for rest periods, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children
Target Audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Work Setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a of employment
Credentials: (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
