Education/Qualification: College/CEGEP (2 to 3 years program) 

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years 

Languages: English

Main duties: 

– Help and direct patients in using supportive devices (e.g. crutches and canes)
– Contribute to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues
– Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by a Registered Physiotherapist
– Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists to rehabilitate patients and increase/maintain mobility
