Required a Restaurant Supervisor for a very busy restaurant – Quesada

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed as instructed
• Prepare and meet the work schedule for the shifts
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu and current promotions
• Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required
• Ensure team maintains or exceeds guest expectations in a cost-effective manner
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• Cover team roles / shifts when required
• Apply basic knowledge of food preparation (in keeping with standardized recipes)
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right
• Secondary School Graduation

ABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 – 2 years of experience
• Prior team leadership background preferred
• Outgoing, positive and team orientated
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)

Salary: CAD$ 17.00 per hour plus standard industry benefits.  Please note that this is a full-time permanent position at Quesada located at # 119 Princess St, Kingston, ON K7L 1A8
