Description

Rueon Thai Restaurant Ltd in Red Deer, AB requires a full time Thai Cuisine Cook to perform the following duties:

-Prepare and cook full course meals and individual dishes and foods as per Thai cooking techniques;
-Plan menus;
-Ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions;
-Work with minimal supervision;
-Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
-Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food as per Thai cooking techniques;
-Order supplies and equipment;
-Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
-Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.);
-Clean kitchen and work areas, and wash dishes

Skill Requirements:
-Completion of high school
-At least 2 years of relevant experience or related post secondary education
-Must have experience with Thai cooking techniques

Salary: $14.55/hr for 40 hrs/week (no benefits)
