• Position Title: Vineyard worker
• Terms of Employment (Full Time, Part Time, Casual): Full time permanent with 35 hours/week
• Salary: $16.75/hour

Skill Requirements:
1. Repetitive tasks; somewhat physically demanding
2. Combination of standing and walking
3. May handle heavy loads,
4. Be able to handle outdoor work in hot or cold weather
5. May require bending, crouching or kneeling

Qualification:
 Minimum high school graduate

Job duties:
• Prepare soil and plant vines using hand tools and farm machines.
• Construct trellises for climbing vines.
• Operate farm machines to cultivate, fertilize and, spray.
• Spray vines with chemicals to control weed growth, insects, fungus growth and diseases.
• Assist with brush removal, brush chopping, drainage, hoeing, subsoiling, land prep, watering, staking etc.
• Prune vines and harvest grapes.
• Irrigate land for crop growth.
• Select and pick grapes according to size and ripeness, and discard rotting and over-ripened produce.
• Sort, bunch and pack produce into containers.
