Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in the related field

Ability to Supervise: Staff in various areas of responsibility

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail

Workers Supervised: Grocery clerks and shelf stockers, Retail salespersons and sales clerks, Cashiers

Specific Skills

• Assign sales workers to duties,
• Authorize return of merchandise,
• Sell merchandise,
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters,
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers,
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages,
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Additional Skills: Order merchandise,
• Establish work schedules
